I don't think so, since FreeMiNT does the same on 680x0.
Of course the problem could be in ColdFire-specific instructions.

One should understand: with FireTOS.
This is even more obscure if you use an USB keyboard: in that case, 
there is no hardware IKBD device at all. I don't know what happens in 
that case.
