Setting up a cross-compiler

Can anyone help me find the source code for GNU C/C++ 2.4.x?  I'm been
searching for three days now (using archie and snooping) and the only
site I've found 2.4.anything on has been ftp.docs.uu.se, which has
2.4.0 in its /pub/gnu directory.

Naturally, that site's so slow that I can't get more than about 30k from
it before the FTP connection gets lost.  :-(  A bit annoying for a >5M
file.

If anyone's got the sources, can you _please_ tell me where I can FTP
them from?  I don't relish the idea of trying to ftp such a huge file
from out of North America.  Naturally, only 2.5.x versions can be
found on prep.ai.mit.edu, and those can't produce working 68000 code. :-(
