Domain X.. the way forward?

I've been reading with interest the Domain X discussions and I have a few
points to make.

(1) I think it would be a very good idea to have a restricted domain for
programs, ie. not allowing them to do nasty direct access things.

(2) I think it would be a good idea to have a new executable format which
works only under MiNT which would allow better a better malloc()
	implementation etc.

(3) The (1) and (2) shouldn't be linked, though (2) should have the
characteristics of (1), ie. there should be no way for the programs
to access memory addresses they don't own.

As for the new executable format, I wonder how easy it would be to make the
ABI Linux-m68k compatable... Hmm....

By the way, I've noticed in the latest Linux-m68k digest posting the Minix
filesystem code has been tweeked so as to use the same format as the MiNT
and Minix-m68k one, so no more need to run fsck under each OS to get the
bitmaps correct.

I just wish I could get Minixfs 0.6pl10 to work properly on my machine.
