Mint 1.10 Slow??

Hi,
Is it my imagination or is MiNT 1.10 slower than MiNT 1.04 (Release
version)????

I've used Lattice 'C' Version 5.60 to compile it with all the optimization
on for 68000.

I know its a BETA but come on its already been hit at for how slow it is,
and any slower will just stop people from using it, even though it is the
best thought out one, and now with other ones out like Geneva and now MagX
which has very intresting reports eg. It is even faster than NORMAL
T.O.S.!!

Now if people try it and see now fast it is then they might forget about
MiNT, and go to them, even if it is bundeld with the Falcon, and the price
is far to high Highsoft sell it for 49.99 for there abouts, MagX sells for
about 30 to 40 pounds, so its about time that the people at Atari think
about what they are doing!!

When MiNT as called Mint is Not Tos, it was herald as a miracle, but now,
its an expensive program, if Atari even lowered its price to be competitve
with the other programs then it might we a bit better, but the speed well
thats up to the programers!!

And yes I have tried Geneva, and MagX, and MultiTos and altough I like
MultiTos, MagX IS faster but not as good!!

So come on think about it, why have so many people working on it when if
you just keep on sticking little bits here and there, its going to become
far to sssslllloooowwwwwww and then Mr Joe Bloggs will go else were for
something that he thinks is better by being faster, and yes he might
possibly go for someting like MagX!!

So what am I saying, 'MAKE IT FASTER'!!! thats what, but overall its the
best one out as the moment!!!!!

Thanks

P.S. Any if anybody says that MiNT is for the Falcon, I HAVE used it on the
Falcon and it still slows it down, and soon MagX for the Falcon will be
out, I dont want to stop anybody from doing what they are doing, but please
consider what I am saying, because if not it will be ANOTHER Atari product
that nobody wants!!
