Agreed, but why does MiNT 1.12 compiled with gcc 2.5.8 or 2.6.1 does not
work and simply compiling *only* proc.c with -fno-defer-pop works? I 
checked it yesterday, and this MiNT ran MTOS for about 3 hours without
hanging...

I still think this is the solution but the bug is in 4.1 gem.sys...
