I can not confirm this. The original 1.12 and the MH-MiNT-1.12h1 both
run any program after them in the \auto folder. 

Remember, the binary name has to be mint.prg or mintnp.prg, and if you
cd to another dir in your mint.cnf MiNT can not find the programs after
itself.
