SLIP & Mail

Is there a set of mail transport software for Mintnet? (smtp? smail? 
sendmail? umail?) At this point I'm still transferring binaries through a 
slow link to get Gcc set up (using a special program to reduce the 
bandwidth consumed by ftp, 8 more hours to go) I need to fetch binaries 
of any such software.
