I didn't really test and apply your patch and I won't recommend using
it. Actually there *is* a reason to change the current drive and path
in MINT.CNF: It is the drive and path where the INIT program will be
started. I prefer to have my init(8) started from U: instead of the
bootdrive, even though I loose the ability to start any auto folders
programs after MiNT. This does not hurt my anyway, as I can exec them
from MiNT config before changing to U: (Actually I start them before
MiNT anyway; this saves around 10kBytes for each TSR!).
