Re: MiNT Computing!

The reason that I suggested the MSX is because it was released in quite a few
countries including Japan and Russa thus it has quite a large software base.
Believe it or not some people still use Commodore 64's through emulation.
The MSX system has MIDI and like the BCC Acorn, quite a few educational titles
exist for it in the public domain now. There aren't as many educational titles
available for the STe. Peoples of different cultures and languages would be
able to use software developed for the MSX in their own language other than
German, French, English, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, etc.

Hades is a new model from the Medusa company. It is sold by Toad
Computers here in the States as well as other companies in various countries.
I see MiNT as a language that deserves to be further developed since it is
based on supporting the Atari hardware. Just as AmigaDos is very Unix like
but it has full support for the Amiga hardware. New standards are being made
for Unix that will enable better support of Atari hardware such as MIDI and
sound. Search for USS to find out more. MiNT make a very good Unix clone
so why not support it. Utilize ST-Guide to present tutorials for using
MiNT along with XaAES, X-Windows, OaSiS, and W. If only they would link up
the Help key to ST-Guide and pass the required hyp file to it.

						Atari Computing is MiNT.
