Needless to say all IDE based filesystems use the same type of low-level
formatting just because IDE drives are low-level formatted at the factory
and can't be reformatted. Of course, any IDE controller supports a FORMAT
TRACK command, but this command does almost nothing (you can change the
interleave with it, but nothing else).
