I just tried this, but my version of QED doesn't seem to have this feature
(and I'm glad it doesn't, as it could get very confusing since the
filesystem you use has nothing to do with line termination).
Are you sure you don't mean that QED preserves the line endings of a file
that you load into it?

I'm using 4.00 and it seems to work fine...
