QED has never bombed for me and 4.10 is generally better than the 4.0. I
only noticed a small bug: namely, the 3.97 and 4.0 jumped to cursor on
"Save"  and autosave condition, what was very annoying. This is fixed in
4.10, the editor still jumps to the cursor on "Save as..." and even on
"Show information" (or whatever the ctrl/i function is called). 

The other sad thing is that QED seems to have a tendention to destroy
its CFG file if a shutdown was performed using N.Closure ("brutally")
and the QED was running that time. The CFG file has mostly 0 length after
that.
