Aha... so, *everyone* should be seeing this functionality? so how come
people here didn't think this still worked?

Yep [and draco says it already is, so I guess I can get Stoop to disable 
it when I boot with MiNT]

I agree. I have no knowledge about how to do it though :)

How can MiNT know what fastram settings my FX has? I would have thought 
that this sort of upgrade is hardware specific... MiNT should definately
preserve any settings though... (now I know why MiNT always bombs with 
Memory Protection if I have FX memory installed)

(I always assumed that the FX ram was simply added by using Maddalt(),
 but if the PMMU is required I guess it is more complex... the fact
 that FX-ram clashes with MP confirms that PMMU is probably used)
