Since FeniX is aimed at full 68k family support with future PPC support,
perhaps a discription of FeniX's current capabilities is waranted as
well as the ToDo list. This way, if FeniX can easily be brought up to
the level of the current freeMiNT experimental Kernal; 1.15.8, it can be
brought on board for replacement. I hope that FeniX will be visible
soon, so that the efforts being put into MiNT can be transferred over.
I think that Sven's initial efforts in VM was the actual cause of the
MiNT renaissance. That gave new hope for the user group and allowed
expanded use of MiNT on '040's and other "new" developments. With VM,
security, GEM capability, and Unix-like functionality, there would be NO
need to buy Magic or download LinuX if all of these areas are covered by
MiNT or FeniX (with fVDI, XaAES, freeType, and other system enhancers).
