mintlib, missing?

Here is what I think again, that's becoming a problem. (at least to
me)
Whenever compiling/porting a new program from unix/gnu/linux whatever
to mint, try to make it mainly for the mintlibs, and not just hacking
the original source. Otherwise we will never go anywhere.
While trying to compile (NOT rewrite, just compile), with our libs, it
ismore than trivial. See almost impossible. 

Btw, where is _isdigit in the libs? It is defined in the headers, but
NOwhere in the libs, It should normally be in libc.a, but funnily
enough, I can't find it anywhere. (so is my linker here). What's
happening?
