Trouble with freeMinT 1.15.0

Greetings everyone,

I have lately tried to use freeMiNT 1.15.0 instead of the old 1.14.7, 
but haven´t managed to get it up and running yet. It freezes during 
bootup and the last thing written is about the new vfat thing in version 
1.0 by F. Neumann. 

Is there anything I can change in the MINT.CNF file ti fix this? Is 
there something wrong with my harddisk? Please help.
Btw, I use an old STe with 4mb running Tos1.62.
