Well, here, the dev has stop and I don't know any mint user using ext2fs.

that blows me away, I HAD NO idea it was giftware, shareware whatever.
I thought it was 100% freeware.

there are eng doc for spin??? ok. hmm
Ok, I downloaded spin a LOOONG time ago. And there was No eng doc. Hence I
didn't see any giftware thing, or had no idea what it was about.
Probably coz everything was in german.
Btw spin is really good. That's nice job.
Is betados freeware or giftware? coz now I am all confused..
How much is spin, I mean how much do you expect?
Little Anecdote aside:
My only shareware prog is popgem (now version 2.4)
Only in english, and eng doc. Coz I don't know german at all.
2) if a german would like to do the prog translation and the doc
translation, I would do a german one without a prob.
Anyway, the only paid registrations (6 of them) were from US and Europe,
eng speaking people.
I don't expect non eng people to register, coz they can't use it.
So to me it makes sense.
