Since Atari/JTS is no longer involved, I submit that we use MiNT.

IMHO, the idea is that uname should return "MiNT" but Makefile
and Configure or GuessOS should use "mint" (ie: make mint).

...which is the problem I encountered while trying to port Apache,
because my version of uname replies something else than what Jan Paul's
patched GuessOS expects...

I completely agree! ;-)))

See my previous post on what I advocate as uname replies to all
options... :)
