what's new in 3.8? 
Just extra dumps in clipboard like kernel name, compiler definitions, etc.
Also fixed 2 or 3 inconsistencies if people used older kernel. Now should
be all fixed.

3.9 will have the cache setting available from a GEM window.

PS: is it normal that if one uses Multitos (aes 4.0 or 4.1, GEM.SYS),
scrp_read() doesn't return anything, (this if clipboard.cpx is not used).

PS2: the option clipbrd in naes.cnf seems to be a dummy one. Anyone to
confirm that?
