According to the Linux manpage "RLIMIT_OFILE is the BSD name for RLIMIT_NOFILE". So you might also want to ensure that RLIMIT_OFILE is also present. On a different topic: Has anybody already ported/written a SysV-style init? If not, are there any objections?
