Hmm...okay-I'm not expert so slam me if necessary, but I've had fsck
not fix a reported problem, after running it, and multiple reboots. What
I was told to do was boot immediately into Bash, and then run it with
nothing else inbetween. Seems that some caches interfere with fsck, so
that when you run it "clean" it will do its job. Worked for me anyways.
I even have these lines in MINT.CNF (to remind myself):
INIT=c:\multitos\init.prg
# Use the line below when running fsck to avoid cache interference.
# Don't forget that you have to type the path directly to fsck.....
#INIT=u:\bin\bash
If this has nothing whatsoever to do with what you are talking about
