[MiNT] Mounting--- a circular argument
hi,
my linux system automounts everything in FSTAB where I
told it to mount them. It does this while the OS is
coming up.
Mint could use fstab or xyzzy or any name they like
but the user must tell the system
<path name> <disk part> <args & options>
mint should read this file and instead of hard coding
the mount points, just put resource where the users
tells it. mint should not care what shape the fs is
in.
AS an aside. I have the BDOS source for TOS fs.
I have "compiled" it with MWC and have never gotten
around to trying to boot or run it. However good or bad
the code is, it would make TOS fs just another file system.
and we could control its bug list.
For the record I am runing tos 1.4 in a MEGA 4
(Martins old machine)
