Need to check my source -- right now I'm not sure.

For instance, SCSI-Tool has a function that allows you to do stress tests
(I/O) on any valid file system. How is it supposed to find all these
filesystems in order to display a list to the user?

Just because *you* don't see a use case doesn't mean that existing programs
do not already rely on it.
