The error messages have to be printed using bios devices, as it wouldn't otherwise be possible to produce such output when in the middle of a GEMDOS call. But you have a lot of other options: - Use another DEBUG_DEVNO in mint.cnf, to direct output to the printer or to a serial port (using a nullmodem connection to another computer) - Install xconout2.xdd, and open TosWin2's console window - Press Ctrl-Alt-F8 to re-display the last (at most) 50 lines of error/debug messages > When it crashes, the error line doesn't even wrap correctly, so I > cannot write much of it.... Then add exec U:\usr\bin\printf \033v to your mint.cnf to enable line wrap. Hope all this will help in receiving more feedback, now :) Ciao Thomas -- Thomas Binder (Gryf @ IRCNet) gryf@hrzpub.tu-darmstadt.de PGP-key available on request! binder@rbg.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de
