Of course, all regular users who don't have problems running registered Thing under N.AES are betatesters ;) > There is that site in Uk that archives everything and makes it > available online... You know what I mean. If you or someone else still have a mail in the private folder, or find any reference to a posting here or on UseNet via Deja News, please tell me. It's not completely impossible that I've forgotten it, but you'd have to help me. > Neither seem to produce much difference. Well, in that case, it's almost impossible that is has anything to do with thingreg.ovl, as the actual code in the .ovl isn't even executed when there's no thing.key file, because Thing then already knows it can't be registered. > I have reported that error code a couple of times, at least partially > (see previous mail), as I recall. Yes, you have reported "crashes with a (bus) error". And I've - as often - asked you to provide more details, but never got them. Now, though, you have provided details in another mail, which I've answered privately, as it's off topic for the list, anyway. > Now, you know. Either N.AES or Thing, or both, must be fixed. Or your setup. It wouldn't be the first time it turned out to be some configuration flaw that caused problems for you, if I recall correctly.
