Sorry, that's complete wrong. The normal SCC only have a 1 byte FIFO. So
he generate an interrupt for every character.
This is SCC is the standard chip in TT, Falcon.
Hades have ESCC. It's possible to replace the SCC in the TT with an ESCC.
And at least the chip interrupt mode doesn't affect the high level
read/write functions at all. The read/write functions are completly
independant from the interrupt functions.
