A lot of overhead.

The problem is that anonymous pipes have to show up in /pipe which is
not necessary IMHO.

Tomas, is it possible that you want to come closer to a real Unix
environment by putting a line "exec /bin/chroot /" in your mint.cnf?  That
doesn't work at the moment.
