That allows to keep the SCSI lowlevel stuff out of the BOS driver. Again
this enables you to use the .BOS driver on any system with a working SCSIDRV
interface. I imagine that the Milan users wouldn't be too happy if they
couldn't use SPIN to access their CDs :-)
