That's make no sense. The BIOS device driver code is patched and patched
again. In fact, the BIOS itself doesn't support such high baudrates. These
settings call back the RSVF cookie from HSMODEM and such things.

The baudrate is set by the device driver. That's the design. But there are
other programs under MiNT that do the same with direct hardware accesses
(not clean).
