Yes, I have read that, however, I somehow disliked the default paths, and
put the program to c:/multitos/xaaes. I think it would be great if the
XaAES would read the files you mention just from the directory where the
xaaes.tos resides. I think N.AES does so, also Atari AES.

That's strange. I wrote the entire mail (the original which started this
thread) in qed under XaAES and I observed this effect many times. It is
quite irritating, but does not occur always. Just from time to time, at
regular intervals, however, I don't know if the interval is measured by
the time elapsed, the number of characters written or what.
