Sorry, I didn't clarify, in my previous post, those were errors, but the PPP link is working, I just wondered why I was getting protocol errors when I was running the same version of pppd on both machines Perhaps is is because of some of the auto-config stuff I am not using. I will consult the pppd documentation. thanks, noah silva
