I've been thinking about this for little while. We never counted our
users and never asked them what OS they run. Neither we ever tried to
count the MiNT users, or even the  remaining active atari users. It's
actually a very good question - how many people need a new MiNT release,
for example? I was the only one who bothered Frank with the 2.0 release.
And I don't even need it for myself.

Hm. Anyway. To show at least *some* numbers I checked the download
statitics at sf.net and they say the latest beta of ARAnyM was
downloaded about 2400 times. I can't estimate if 90% were just curious
guys that ran it just once, or if it were 95 or even 99%. Sorry. But
there are some ARAnyM users out there, it seems. And since MagiC does
not boot on ARAnyM easily most of them are running either TOS or the
FreeMiNT - which is a good news.

Actually latest AFROS was downloaded 814 times so there is a serious
number of people that gave the FreeMiNT a try. Wow. 814. Good job,
FreeMiNT! I just hope there is at least another thousand of MiNT users
running on real machines.
