No, but I responded to the desire of getting rid of wdialog.

However, internally XaAES uses the toolbar mechanism for the desktop
and all its own dialogues and the fileselector.

Writing a user interface that instructs XaAES about the desktop
behaviour or ownership shouldnt be difficult.

You can already send any message to XaAES by using appl_write, what
remains is the handling by XaAES itself.
It already has a small message handler. This can easily be extended.
