Re: [MiNT] man problem

More information is required. This is being typed in a 55 line Toswin window on a TT with a TTM195 monitor, by telnet to a shell host running pine. I do have to tell that BSD (bash) shell to stty rows 55 to get 55 lines to my toswin window.

I logged off for a minute to run man pppd, and got a 55 line display. The man I have comes from the EasyMiNT distribution.

pico and more and less give me 55 line displays, from a 55-line toswin window. The others I have not used.

It is possible that the problem you report is somewhat unique, and is at your end. How was man installed? Have you tried "stty rows 55" before starting man, and what happens if you do?

Hardware, please?

I do not use man often, so I always forget to report it.

For unknoswn reasons, when running man in Toswin2 window, man alway thinks
that the size of the terminal is 25 lines (even if it is more). I really do
not know what could be messed up (all other programs (ms, nano, pine, lynx)
work ok, even standalone less works ok). Any cluse
