[MiNT] 1.16.0 no go

I did everything right, or at least tried to. Hardware is a TT030 with 128 megs of memory, MiNT drive is external, SCSI bus.

Boot drive had a file that would not erase, which could cause ystem problems, so fixed that with discus, and erased everything, and restored it from a backup.

Re-downloaded all the 1.16.0 files from the sparemint site, in case ftp had screwed up, as it did once, and compared the things in the 1.16.0 folder, and the kernal, using egale, and found them to be the same.

Printed out my existing mint.cnf and the 1.16.0 mint.cnf, and made up a min.cnf that had necessary (setenv DISPLAY is necessary) changes and corrections to match the file system EasyMiNT installer set up. It included an initial memory statement.

Then, rebooted, using superboot, and selected the 1.16.0 kernel, and the same damnable thing happened, only with one, not two, doubled bus errors.

The file system part started to load, and stalled, with that doubled bus error.

The file system extensions in my mint/1-16-0 folder were put there by copying from the downloaded and unpacked Freemint file, and checked OK with egale.

The sparemint site has a mailgroup archive, and I read that about 1.16.0.

There is no other conclusion than that 1.16.0 does not run on a TT. It seems to run on a Falcon, from what I read, and that is a very good mystery.

I know there is a 1.16.1, but not where it is, and, to save time, if there is a compiled version of a mint030 kernel, would someone either tell me where it is, or send it to me, or else point me to the source code for it, so I can fumble around trying to compile it.
