I know Frank want to keep with current binutils 2.13 and gcc 2.95 for MiNT. But cross-compilers users must be able to use the more recent versions.
No, you understand me wrong. It's just a lot of work and until gcc 3.3 the compiler was not in such a stable state that the work was worthwhile.
