needs additional patching to be compiled itself for MiNT. Until now,
haven't found enough courage to try to do this. But maybe I'm a bit
pessimist, and It may not be so difficult ?
maybe you should coordinate your work with Patrice? He "discovered" all the necessary work for
3.x range of GCC to make GCC both native and cross for m68k-atari-mint. I'm sure the necessary work for 4.x will be very similar.
Seriously, I think things should be done in this order :
your plan seems very reasonable. I have some other projects waiting for christmas but if I can help you in any way, I'm ready. I find 4.x +
2.18 compatibility very attractive, but I lack of experiences you already have. But I can test compilation at original Atari + CT60 at least.
