[MiNT] GCC 4.2.2, My problem or ...?

OK, was rebuilding the native GCC on my Falcon, and it stopped with:

ar: B@//?: No such file or directory

I had seen a similar error in linking OpenTTD, but figured it was the 
Makefile, this is what OpenTTD did (linking was OK when done by hand)

ld: B@//?: No such file or directory

I *think* GCC was putting together libbackend.a, but it will be a while 
(restarting make) til I know for sure....
