This is odd. I tried it on the Falcon just now, and it crashes in the same manner. I've also tried swkbdtbl with a table generated with mktbl from one of the keyboard tables in CVS. Same result.
However, if I disable memory protection there is no problem. Atleast none I can see with the brief test I just made. There could be some side effect that I haven't noticed yet though.
