I have attached my syslogd from /usr/sbin it's dated 30.1.2004
The floppy locking problem definately did not occur with 1.15.12
But which version of syslogd did you use then? You need to test with 1.15.12
and your current syslogd to see if the kernel version has anything to do
with this.
