It won't run without it. The *.xad-files belong into that folder. Now: what's new? ;-)There is a xaaes/src.km/xad folder too... it contains WHLMOOSE, while xam contains REZCHG
Didn't notice any failure without it yet. BTW: How do I change the resolution (on aranym)?
Also it needs the ozk-kernel, else it produces pid 7 (ozkloader): run_km run(93352,4EB8000)pid 7 (ozkloader): signal #4 raised [syscall_pc 0x11A8BBA, exception_pc0x30] pid 7 (ozkloader): ILLEGAL INSTRUCTION: User PC=30 (basepage=11A8000, text=11A8100, data=11A8CA8, bss=11A8CAC) pid 7 (ozkloader): freeing p_fd for ozkloader and vice-versa. -- Helmut Karlowskiso there are other "mint extras" in the kernel also...
It would be nice when the kernel and xaaes would be compatible to other branches, or at least issue an error, not crash.
