So use the bugtracker for the difficult issues and also post your stuff herefor discussion.You must be thorough, even if the bugs are just fixed on the list, there is no reason why they should not be logged, even it it was small, or took 2 seconds to fix.
You have to consider the additional effort to document everything: The amount of time to document a change/fix should not exceed 2 times the time needed to write the actual stuff.
The cvs serves very well as lookup-tool for changes.Could there be a link between the bugtracker and the cvs so not everything has to be documented twice?
One problem is: The generated cvs-changelog only contains changes done to trunk.
