Yes you have but when I asked if it's possible to adjust it, you
suggested to make a new target (probably you've got more complex thing
in mind but I couldn't know that).

strip $(wildcard .compile_*/mint*.prg) isn't a hack? It has three
things hardcoded (build dir, target names and target paths) and
there's no way how to determine path/names from upper layers.
Remember, current build chain depends only on one thing -- if TARGET
== empty string, leave directory else pass 'make' arguments and
execute new 'make'.

I have absolutely no problem with this solution. My goal was to make
quick release tree, not showing how cool I am in shell scripting or
how clean patches I'm able to deliver.
Are you going to provide output of my script on your server so others
can review / comment it? I don't care about a form, really, I just
wanted to make a release more user friendly, nothing more.
