Just to clarify, this isn't a 2.7 vs 2.6 issue. I've just tried 2.7 that I already had (I think comes with ?easymint or aranym distribution) and it works fine [bug in display is NOT present] with latest xaaes. So to be specific, I was reporting the issue with what is provided in the tools folder of the trunk-0908 build, but it now looks like it is not xaaes or mint ;-) hope this helps someone.
