It would be nice if FreeMiNT could display a meaningful message in that
case, instead of crashing miserably.
Wouldn't that require MiNT to analyze the current MMU setup?
What is the purpose of setmmu.prg ?
If it is required for running FreeMiNT, it should be built and shipped
with it. Or maybe included into mint.prg itself...
Basically it's a tool to correct some shortcomings in the underlying OS.
TOS/EmuTOS doesn't set up the MMU correctly. IMO the correct solution under
Aranym would be to set up the MMU in the OS or emulator.
It's also used on the Hades. I think it's needed to allow stuff like
soundcards to work properly too. Lonny can probably tell more about this.
