It's not possible to unload an module with the MiNT kernel, AFAIK. What I'm suggesting is this: Kernel modules which can be removed are not really needed to get the USB stuff done. If that's not true, why don't you tell why this feature is really needed?

You questioned how one module can access functions of another one. Well, I think one possible answer is within the networking stack of MiNT.

Within linux you can't load modules that access non-available functions.
