I have not followed this thread, so maybe it's nonsense - you can switch the menu off in XaAES as well as in MyAES and your window would cover the whole screen, and receive everything. I do this all the time.
Not really optimal usability-wise, WM_FULLSCREEN flag for window (without and other values) would be much better. Because of there being no workaround for these issues, I'd consider this more of a bug than feature.
Please describe exactly where you see a bug. -- Helmut Karlowski
