At least now I know about it :) I'll leave that trap-change-deny-stuff to only cover Setexc.
Once the kernel has such an interface (Xbconin ;-)), I guess using it in theAES is no big deal.Sounds very good, it would be very very useful imo.
If someone wants to do the kernel-side, I guess something like /dev/xkbd would be helpful, so XaAES can listen there.
