If I'm not wrong, the code you have modified is run when there is no_AKP cookie at all. It is never run FreeMiNT over EmuTOS, because EmuTOSalways set the _AKP cookie to something (NVRAM or language hardcoded inthe ROM header).


So that code is run only for old TOS without _AKP cookie.
Nothing wrong with that, I just wanted to clarify.

Wouldn't this patch be better?
