 Sorry, I have to correct that. It works okay when navigating
 on the commandline input prompt, but not for tools like nano.

So you'll have to configure the cursor-keys for nano too, or does it also
use readline?

 I tried vttest with toswin2 and conholio, but both hang instantly :(
 (waiting for more input) - without displaying the test menu.

That's because the kernel lacks O_NDELAY-mode for open. I had something
for that in my kernel to get vttest working, but I guess I've removed it.
